Revoking a barring and introducing gambling back into your life is a big decision. You don’t have to do it alone.
It can be helpful to consult with a professional Gambling Help Counsellor. They will support you to plan for a return to gambling with a focus on minimising the gambling harm.
This plan may consider what prompted the baring being implemented in the first place, and what life has been like without gambling. This aims to help you consider your goals and limits, and learn new effective ways of coping with high-risk situations. We can also provide a letter of attendance if required.
We are a free, confidential and non-directive service. We understand the challenges that revoking a barring can bring. We are non-judgmental, are here to help.
